What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality

It’s the idea that how we think of ourselves will impact our lives. And that our lives impact everyone around us.

I took a picture of a page in a book. I believe the author is JK Rowling.

What do you think it means?

This year: 2016 to do list

Here’s a list for all of you if you don’t have one already!

Happy new year!

19 health benefits to drinking green tea

I do feel drinking green tea has had a positive impact on my health. Drinking green tea in the mornings before eating or drinking anything else did make my body feel good.

For me it wasn’t the least bit addictive. I actually forced myself to drink it because I could feel the benefits.

There are so many good quality green teabags available these days. So not is it only healthy, but easy to get.

When I go to my favorite Japanese restaurant I always order green tea.

Do you drink green tea or believe in its benefits? If so, what kind do you prefer?

Make your life inspiring

I read something “pretty cool” (thx Miley Cyrus) yesterday.

Here it is:

I think this is an important one for the vitality section of Serena Glow!

Your life is a message. What you decide to do with that life, and that means how you decide to earn a living, can inspire those around you. So make it worth something.

Believe in what you live.

Do you?

I know you do. Maybe not right now, but you were preparing to live your life in this way soon. Maybe you already do it in small ways. Maybe you want to do it more. What’s your story?

The seven cardinal rules for life. Or are they?

I found something interesting. This is the type of information that may be interesting to discuss with someone deep and full of opinions!

Or perhaps not. Take a look and decide for yourself.

What do you think of these seven cardinal rules? Is there any truth to this?

Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t happen

I came across a great quote to maintain your vitality, positivity and momentum.

I believe the most important thing is to simply know what you want.

Once you know what you want, all you have to do after that is work hard to get it.

And if you really want it, really really want it… you will get it.

Because someone wise once told me, “you will get what you want as long as you want it more than anything else.”

Stay strong, have faith and carry on my lovely readers!

The benefits of reading books

Reading is exercise for the brain. The very act of decoding letters to create words to create thoughts and images in the brain keeps the mind sharp, and your personality irresistibly interesting.

Regular training of your brain through reading can help with perspective, mood, and happiness.

Here’s a chart to explain what daily reading to do for children:

If this is what it does for children, imagine what it can do for adults.

There are so many benefits to reading. Time invested into reading can take away stress, deepen your rate of breathing, thereby increasing oxygen to your brain.

Spend the day at a bookstore or library, and try to read for 20 minutes a day. Maybe right before you go to bed. It may also help you achieve a deep restorative relaxing sleep.

The 30 day no-fail happiness challenge

It’s simple, really, here it is:

Try it. It’s only 30 days. It’s not a large time commitment either. The steps are very simple. Basically you are practicing gratitude, counting your blessings, focusing on what is meaningful in your life, building relationships, exercising your body and fostering your spiritual health.

What do you think of this? Is it a load of crap? Will you be trying it?

What causes creativity?

A creative mind helps solve problems, take away stress, add beauty to the world and fuse practicality with imagination. What do you get when you take a creative approach?

Fantastic solutions and better results. But you can’t go alone. Here are some tips:

Steal to create your best work ever

Stealing’s not right, in fact, it’s a criminal offence. but not when it comes to creative thinking or good work. In fact, the best creations have evolved from other creations.

The photographer takes a beautiful picture of the sunset. Did he create that vision? Perhaps not. He borrowed it from nature. Some would say he stole it from nature. But the photographer created his interpretation of what already exists, and that is his work.

So create your version of what already exists.

Here are some tips on how best to steal:

What do you think about the above infographic? How do you feel about “stealing” to create a new creative work?
