It is super easy to make homemade salsa and it’s very healthy too! It’s clean eating at its best. Wherever you’d use jar salsa – with chips, on top of enchiladas, on crackers – use this instead!
3 large Roma tomatoes, diced
1/2 large jalapeño pepper, diced
1/2 onion, diced
Juice of one lime
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch cumin powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Transfer half to a food processor and pulse for 3 minutes or desired consistency. Add to existing pico de gallo, mix. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Enjoy!
Be careful seeding your jalapeño, wash your hands with hot water and soap after handling:
