Boiled eggs are jampacked with nutrition and because you’re not frying them or scrambling them there is no added fat from cream, oil or butter.
Some tips are to rinse them immediately after cooking in cold water so the shells come off the egg easily. Another tip is to add salt to the boiling water, preventing green or blueish yolks.

Place eggs in sauce pan. Cover with salted water. Bring to boil. Then turn off heat and cover. I like to let the exit in the water for 12 minutes. Rinse with cool running water, crack shells, peel and serve immediately.
I love to make these into deviled eggs sometimes. The recipes are endless. You can add fresh herbs like deal or parsley or basil. You can add sausage or shrimp or smoked salmon. You can mix with zero fat Greek yogurt, mayo or balsamic vinegar with oil.
